Save the Children
Save the Children is the world’s largest independent children’s rights organisation. Around the world we work to give children a healthy start in life, the opportunity to learn and protection from harm. We do whatever it takes for children – every day and in times of crisis – transforming their lives and the future we share.
As part of or Every Last Child campaign we’re focussed on ensuring that the world’s most marginalised children benefit from recent global progress in social well-being – particularly in health and learning.
Pearson is the world’s learning company, with expertise in educational courseware and assessment, and a range of teaching and learning services powered by technology.
Our mission is to help people make progress through access to better learning. We believe that learning opens up opportunities, creating fulfilling careers and better lives.
In 2015, we launched our ‘Every Child Learning’ partnership with Save the Children to improve the delivery of quality education for children in conflict-affected settings. In parallel to our innovation/programmatic work, we want to combine our voices and raise awareness of the urgency around improving education for children affected by conflict. This initiative with UNHCR and Save the Children helps us to do just that.
The United Nations High Commission for Human Rights is the UN refugee agency.
UNHCR works to ensure that everybody has the right to seek asylum and find safe refuge, having fled violence, persecution, war or disaster at home.
Since its establishment in 1950, UNHCR has provided vital assistance to refugees, asylum-seekers, internally displaced and stateless people helping to save lives and build better futures for millions forced from their homes.
